Happy almost Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays and I am so excited to head home and spend it with my family. I have only seen them once this semester so this visit is long overdue! I love the holiday season because it is a time when everyone shuts off, steps away from their busy schedules and just spends quality family time together. My cousins and I are all pretty close in age which makes getting together for holidays much more fun. I can't wait until I arrive tonight!
I have so much to be thankful for this year! First off, I am so thankful for all of the people who have supported through this journey on the blog. I was so nervous when starting, but found the courage through all of you and I couldn't be more appreciative and grateful. I am thankful for my parents who have pushed me to be the greatest version of myself and given me an incredible life and education. Without them, I wouldn't have attended this amazing university, I wouldn't be graduating in May, and I wouldn't be looking forward to a bright future. So to them, thank you. I am thankful for Jeremy and my friends who do so much for me, keep me sane during those hard busy times and bring so much joy and laughter to my life. I can not thank you all enough.
With Thanksgiving just a few days away I decided to give a little inspiration for a holiday outfit. I purchased this skirt recently for an event and knew that it would be perfect for Thanksgiving! Don't the colors just scream fall/Thanksgiving? Turkey and Cranberry sewn into a skirt and even better it is on sale! I also love tulle for the holiday as a holiday fabric. It's like velvet, it just adds a little something to any look.
The first time I wore this outfit I styled it with these shoes to dress it up a bit. This time I styled it with booties to make it more casual or daytime appropriate for the holiday. Either option looks great! I hope you all have a fabulous and wonderful Thanksgiving filled with love tukey and stuffing!! Again, I cannot thank you enough for all of the support you have given me! Happy Thanksgiving!
