ASOS Bathing Suit, Coach Tote (similar), Billabong shoes (similar), Straw Hat, Image Sunscreen

The beach is seriously one of my favorite places in the world, put me on a beach and I'll be content for hours. So when summer comes around this is the attire I live in all season long. I usually wear a bikini like this, this, or this, but I am loving the one piece trend. Some of them have such fun details like open backs or high hips that make them so flattering.

A one piece is so easy when it comes to going to the beach because it works as a top as well! You can wear it with a skirt like this one, or you could just throw a pair of patterned or jeans shorts over it. It's one less thing to worry about when heading to the beach or into town afterward. I love the scoop back detail of this one because it makes you feel less covered up and the white is perfect because it goes with everything! Some other one pieces I love are this, this and this one

Some things I always bring to the beach with me are, obviously a towel, and sometimes a chair. I don't mind sitting on the towel in the sand or a chair as long as my feet are in the sand! I also always have a beach bag to keep all my stuff from getting sandy. I love how bright and summery this coach one is. For some sun protection, I bring a baseball hat or a straw one like this. I recommend getting a packable one so that it's easy to travel with. It is also super important to wear sunblock while in the sun whether or not you're at the beach. This one from Image skincare has a matte finish so it's not greasy but is also moisturizing. It does an amazing job of protecting my face from the harsh rays of the sun and doesn't make me break out. That is something that is super important to me.
